Through the partnership, Uber driver partners will have an easy access to avail car insurance with best-in-class insurance premium rates and a host of value-added services like advice from experts through one-on-one interaction and express claims service, among others, a joint statement said.
"We recognise that our driver-partners spend a considerable amount of time on the road and we want to ensure their overall safety," Bhavik Rathod, General Manager South & West, Uber India, said.
As of now, Coverfox car insurance services will be available in top 11 cities and later expanded across cities where Uber has presence.
