Acting on a tip-off, a special team of Jubilee Hills police raided a room in Phase-III of KPHB colony last night and found that two persons - Venkata Rama Raju and Kare Srinivas Rao - were accepting bets over cell phones, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West Zone) G Sudheer Babu said.
Earlier, police nabbed one Prudhvi Raju, working as collection boy for Venkata Rama, who helped them in exposing the hideout of the two organisers.
Police seized Rs 1.2 lakh cash, three cell phones and other hi-tech equipment from the trio which was used for betting, the DCP said.
