The arrested has been identified as Mohammed Fahad Khan (22), a resident of Okhla area of Delhi.
Police said that Fahad had escaped two days back while his younger brother Yashir was arrested after a firing incident in Bara Hindu Rao.
Fahad had also committed several highway robberies. Police said that Uttar Pradesh Police has also declared a reward on him.
"We got information that he was coming towards Yamuna Vihar area. Acting on tip-off, police laid a trap and arrested him from there. He has confessed to his involvement in several robbery cases," said a senior police officer.
The officer said that Farad was a school dropout and his brothers - Yashir and Saddam - were also wanted for many heinous crime in Aligarh and Delhi.
