Criminal wanted in 30 criminal cases nabbed by STF

Satish Misra, wanted in over 30 criminal cases, was nabbed along with one of his associates from Naharpur area under Madiyaon police station after a brief exchange of fire, police officials said.

The accused, who was carrying a cash reward of Rs 50,000, had escaped from police custody when he was taken to Barabanki court from Sitapur jail for a hearing in January, police said.

Another arrested Parshuram was booked in nine different cases, they added.
