CSE index slips 25 points in weekly trade

CSE benchmark index CSE-40 was lower by 25.27 points during the week. The local bourse in the previous week had lost 166.94 pints.

The local bourse opened at 6089.19 and the index registered losses in the first four sessions of the week. On September 7, the index registered some recovery to 6063.92 but stayed lower than previous week's close.

Blueprint Securities was at Rs 307.80 and Infosys was higher to Rs 2469.40. Larsen & Toubro was at Rs 1346 at close.

Reliance Industries was flat at Rs 792 and State Bank of India was down to Rs 1889.95.

Tata Steel was down to Rs 369 to close the week. Twenty First Century ended the week at Rs 325.80 while, Vindus Holding was at Rs 307.
