Tandel and others were welcomed into the party by BJP national president Amit Shah at his residence in New Delhi today after meeting Gurudas Kamat, Congress party in-charge for Daman and Diu, last night with other Congress leaders and tendering their resignations.
Later, Member of Parliament from Daman and Diu Lalubhai Patel took Tandel and his team to meet Amit Shah in Delhi. After meeting Shah, they went to the BJP office and filled up the BJP membership form.
