The 28-year-old actor announced his upcoming gig in a short video posted on his Facebook as an update to his fans, reported Aceshowbiz.
He will play rock singer Hedwig Robinson for a total of 12 weeks and his performance will be kicked off on April 29 this year at the Belasco Theatre, following John Cameron Mitchell's exit on April 26.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, whether you like it or not... DarrenIsHedwig HEDWIG on Broadway," he captioned the video.
