Spears, 32, who recently celebrated her birthday, said she does not let her fame interfere with trying to find true love, reported E! online.
"He's just a simple guy. He's funny. He's passionate. He loves what he does for a living. He's just a good guy. He's a really good person," she said.
"I really don't think about it like that... If I see somebody I like and we hit it off, I don't think about it too much, you know about the situation that I'm in. I just kind of feel it out and follow my heart," she said.
"I went through a breakup earlier in the year, so that was kind of like more therapeutic for me than anything to write about breaking up with someone.
"But I think it's good for the fans, because they can feel like they can relate on some level to me if they've had breakups and they listen to it.
