The film is directed by Oscar-nominee Nancy Meyers, of "Private Benjamin" fame, who has also written the screenplay.
De Niro stars as Ben Whittaker, a 70-year-old widower, who has discovered that retirement is not all it's cracked up to be. Seizing an opportunity to get back in the game, he becomes a senior intern at an online fashion site, founded and run by Jules Ostin, played by Hathaway.
The film, to be released by Warner Bros Pictures, also stars Adam Devine of "Pitch Perfect" fame, Nat Wolff ('The Fault in Our Stars'), Christina Scherer, of "Living with Uncle Charlie" fame, Anders Holm, and Zack Pearlman.
