"Let us take a vow to defeat the Karunanidhi-led DMK, who is betraying the people of Tamil Nadu for selfish interests, in the upcoming Parliamentary elections," she said, writing to party cadres on eve of the 42nd foundation day of AIADMK.
Hitting out at Karunanidhi, Jayalalithaa alleged that he had surrendered to "North Indian hegemony" to escape from the 2G spectrum case.
"He (Karunanidhi) had surrendered to the Congress earlier to get away from Sarkaria Commission related graft cases," she alleged.
