The committee has been asked to enquire into the alleged delay in providing ambulance service to Hukam Singh and submit its report to the government within a week, official sources said.
The CM has also ordered that anyone concerned in the matter be examined during enquiry including the Medical Superintendent of the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) Rohtak, with reasonable opportunity given to all connected in the case.
The enquiry will also examine the role of MS of PGIMS, who had the prime responsibility to ensure all protocol, arrangement, ensuring that the ailing dignitary gets all services in time, sources said.
On February 26, the former Chief Minister of the State 89-year-old Hukam Singh passed away at a private hospital in Gurgaon, a day after being shifted from Rohtak.
He was admitted to PGIMS in Rohtak on February 12 for an ailment.
Two days after his death, Haryana Health minister Anil Vij had ordered a probe after the family of the ex-CM's alleged that they had to wait for more than three hours for an ambulance to shift the former CM to Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon from PGIMS Rohtak.
The Health minister had earlier said that he was "not satisfied" with an enquiry report sent by the Rohtak PGIMS director. The Rohtak PGIMS Director in his enquiry earlier maintained that there was no delay in providing the ambulance to the former CM.
