Delegation meets Maha governor over situation in Gaza

A delegation of Muslim leaders and representatives of civil society organisations, led by Congress MLA Amin Patel, met the Maharashtra Governor K Sankaranarayanan today to express concern over situation in the Gaza strip.
The delegation expressed concern over the Israeli attacks on Gaza that have resulted in the killing of many Palestinians including women and children.
The members of the delegation asked the Governor to convey their strong sentiments to the President Pranab Mukherjee so as to end the brutality in Gaza strip and to facilitate provision of medical relief to the people of Gaza by sending doctors and medicines from India, a statement from Raj Bhavan said.
