"For this, Rs 468 crore will be released soon," he told reporters after addressing a meeting of party workers at Ballabhgarh in Faridabad district on Delhi's outskirts.
Hooda said the Congress will raise an "army" of two lakh dedicated workers to ensure that the benefits of various welfare policies of the state government reaches to people.
"Registration of workers is being done in each district and these workers would work at booth-level for strengthening the party," he said.
The Congress leader also attacked previous INLD-BJP government in the state.
"During the tenure of INLD-BJP government (1999-2005), Faridabad was called 'Fakirabad'," he said.
