CCTV cameras will be also installed in all the ghats to ensure safety and security of the devotees.
In a meeting today, Rural Development minister Gopal Rai directed officials of the revenue department, the flood, irrigation department, and MLAs to make arrangements of tents and maintain cleanliness in the ghats.
The government has already allocated around Rs 44 crore for setting of up of eco-friendly ghats at 75 locations.
The 147 locations were selected out of proposals given by 25 MLAs for setting up of ghats at 205 places.
