Delhi recorded its lowest minimum temperature so far this winter as the mercury dipped to 4.5 degrees Celsius on a clear but chilly day with icy winds blowing across the city.
The maximum in the national capital was recorded at 19.5 degrees Celsius, one notch below normal, while the minimum was three notches below normal, the MeT department said.
Humidity in air fluctuated between 92 and 46 per cent.
The forecast is for mainly clear skies with, however, partial clouds and light rain or thundershowers likely at some places.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 20 and 5 degrees, respectively.
