Delhi Government is likely to seek funds for running their several schemes through a vote on account in the third week of March for the interim period, sources said today.
Sources also said that an Assembly session will be called for vote on account.
Delhi government has decided to table the budget in the Assembly in May, giving some time to people of the city to send it suggestions on the budget.
"The financial year will come to an end this month and thereafter, government needs funds to run its several public welfare schemes.
"For this, it is considering to seek funds through vote on account in the third week of March," sources said.
Delhi chief minister recently announced that people will make their budget on their own and this experiment will be carried out in few constituencies.
"Government wants to give some time to send their suggestions on budget due to which it is considering to table budget in May," sources also said, adding that this will be first time that budget will be tabled in May.
Meanwhile, no raids have been conducted on traders since the AAP-led government has come to power.
"Since AAP has come to power, no raid has been conducted on city's traders as per its zero raid policy," sources also said.
