Devotees offer worship to Lord Kallazhagar

Hundreds of devotees from all over Tamil Nadu today thronged the Vaigai river banks to witness the entry of Lord Kallazhagar into the river.
The Lord's entry into the river is part of the 'Chitrai' festival, being celebrated for the past 20 days in this temple cit.
Devotees offered worship to the Lord.
Last night, special abhishekams were performed to the idol which was brought from Alagarkoil, a hill temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu,20 km from here.
Police made tight security arrangements.
