According to a BJP statement, Dhumal, the Leader of Opposition in the Assembly, met Jaitley in Delhi today.
He said the Union government has give in-principle approval to the Bhanupali-Bilaspur-Mandi-Manali-Leh line.
Dhumal also rued slow progress of construction Nangal-Una-Talwara Rail line and said even after laying of foundation stone in 1974, funds were not provided and the project is hanging fire and urged him to provide Rs 500 crore, besides funding the Chandigarh-Baddi rail project which is of vital importance for industrial development of the state.
