Digitised format of Budget documents presented in Har Assembly

The Haryana government, which tabled its Budget for the financial year 2013-14 in the Assembly today, presented for the first time the concerned financial documents in a digitised format.
The documents, presented following permission by Speaker Kuldeep Sharma, includes the economic survey and other financial papers.
Speaking about the unique move, Finance Minister H S Chattha said the electronic access to the documents will make their handling easier, besides simplifying the process of retrieving information.
He said a few copies of the documents have also been made available in print for those who are not comfortable with the digitised version.
