The Board of Directors of HRTC which met here under the chairmanship of Transport Minister G S Bali sanctioned release of Rs 32 crore for clearing pending liabilities of the employees and also release of additional DA instalment with effect from January this year.
Bali said Rs 7.07 crore have been sanctioned for payment of arrears of additional instalment of DA from January, 2014, Rs 5.50 crore for overtime payment, Rs 9.82 crore for pension liabilities and Rs 2.35 crore for new pension cases.
He said 800 employees of the Corporation would be paid ex- gratia amount of Rs 5,700 and liabilities of Rs 250 crore left by the previous BJP government would be cleared.
