DMK Rajya Sabha member T K S Elangovan today met Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao here and invited him to attend a conference on 'Autonomy of States and Federalism' to be held in Chennai on August 30.
The MP handed over a letter from DMK Working President M K Stalin inviting Rao, a release from the chief minister's office said.
Rao had earlier met Stalin and DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi in Chennai to discuss his plans to form a non-Congress, non-BJP alternative at the national level and to bring about a qualitative change in politics and governance in the country.
