"If stock of ammunition, fireworks and explosives of licence holders was found more than the prescribed quantity, or any person making illegal stock of prohibited explosive material, then it should be seized immediately and effective legal action should be ensured against him," Principal Secretary (Home) Anil Kumar Gupta said in his order.
All DMs have also been asked to check stock books of traders in order to ensure that the stock was not more than the prescribed quantity.
