Station Officer of Indira Puram police station Hari Dayal Yadav said police is probing the veracity of the allegations of doctor.
After investigations, if the allegations warrant, an FIR will be lodged under appropriate Sections of the IPC, Yadav said.
Meanwhile, BSP MLA of Sahibabad constituency Amarpal Sharma denied of thrashing any attending doctor at Kaushambi Hospital last night, adding, it is all a part of conspiracy to malign his image.
Sharma had visited the injured at the hospital.
The MLA said doctor Naresh Gupta of Kaushambi Hospital was not attending to the injured properly and some of the attendants of the injured grappled with doctor Gupta. His name is being unnecessarily implicated in the case.
