Doctor under scanner commits suicide in Punjab
C L Arora of Guru Ravidas Hospital allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan, police said.
Arora was under pressure as a team of health department officials had been probing allegations of fake educational degree against him, they said, adding this might have forced him to take the extreme step.
Investigation was underway, police added.
