Hearing both the pleas of police and Doley's advocate, the court remanded him in 14 days police custody.
Two mobile phones and four ATM cards used by the APSC member were also deposited in the court.
Doley was arrested here yesterday for his alleged involvement in the scam and produced in the court of Special Judge, Assam.
Following the arrest of APSC Chairman Rakesh Kumar Paul on November 4 from his office here in connection with alleged cash for job scam and other cases of corruption in the Commission, Doley had set ablaze a huge quantity of paper in the compound of the Commission's office.
Earlier Paul, APSC member Samedur Rahman and Assistant Controller of Examinations of APSC Pabitra Kaibarta were arrested in connection with the scam.
