New Kids on the Block star Donnie, and Nick, who fronted 98 Degrees, are working on the scripted TV show that will follow a fictional boyband who reunite after 20 years apart, according to Variety.
"Encore", which is being written by "Entourage" creator Doug Ellin, was the result of conversations Donnie and Nick had about how their lives have changed between their days as teenage heartthrobs and now, balancing family life with boyband reunions.
Doug worked with Donnie's younger brother Mark Wahlberg on the hit HBO show "Entourage", which was based on the actor's early experiences in Hollywood.
