"In its anti-drug drive, police this morning arrested a man with cannabis in Sopore town," a police spokesman said.
Police arrested Ghulam Hassan Hurra and recovered 420 grams of Cannabis from him at Ahad Baba crossing in the north Kashmir town, the spokesman said.
He said police had received reports regarding activities of drug peddlers in Sopore town and accordingly a plan of action was launched.
A case under NDPS Act has been registered against the drug peddler, he added.
