Dry weather prevails in most parts of UP

Dry weather conditions today continued in most parts of Uttar Pradesh with the day temperatures rising in Varanasi and Allahabad.
The MeT Department said temperatures were above normal in Agra, Kanpur, Jhansi and Meerut.
Banda was the hottest place in the state with a maximum temperature of 46 degrees Celsius, it said.
The weatherman has predicted rain or thundershowers at isolated places in the state for the next 24 hours.
