"The GB in its meeting held today formed a three-member Inquiry Committee to look into the complaints against Dr Praveen Garg, which include financial misappropriation, removal and appointments of ad-hocs without following norms, appointing probationers as teacher-in-charges against rules to influence admissions and appointments, among others," an official statement said.
The GB ordered that an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) be set up to probe the sexual harassment allegations against Garg raised by a colleague.
Garg's tenure as acting principal expired on September 30 following which the GB had appointed Pankaj Bhan, an associate professor as the acting principal.
When contacted, Garg denied the allegations against him and said he will respond to the GB when asked for his explanation.
