East Bengal opening strike came in the 17th minute through Ranti, who made tapped in a Sanju Pradhan assist. The second goal in the 26th minute was a long ranger from Ranti.
East Bengal made it 3-0 and Ranti duly completed a deserving hat-trick when he weaved past a rival defender and the goalkeeper to slot it home.
