CEOs of all the states and Union Territories were in the Capital at their annual conference chaired by Chief Election Commissioner V S Sampath.
The two Election Commissioners and other top EC officials were present during the meeting, where various CEOs gave their presentations on increasing awareness on voting and ensuring enrolment of young voters.
The CEC and other ECs later also held a meeting with poll officials of five states that are going to polls later this year.
The Commission has also held a meeting with the Home Secretary and the Department of Telecom on availability of forces and for maintenance of communication nework during the forthcoming polls.
States of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram will elect their new assemblies as the tenures of their present ones ends later this year.
