Edible, non-edible drops on sluggish trade

Groundnut oil prices dropped at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on reduced demand from stockists and retailers amidst adequate supply positions.
Refined palmolein moved down further due on lack of retail buying support.
In non-edible, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial both slipped owing to subuded offtake from shippers and soap industries.
Linseedoil maintained a steady trend in the absence of any large-scale buying.
In the edible-segment, groundnut oil dipped by Rs 10 per 10kg to Rs 735 from Monday's closing level of Rs 745 and refined palmolein eased by Rs 3 per 10kg to Rs 553 as against Rs 556 yesterday.

Moving to non-edible segment,castorseeds bold declined by Rs 15 per 100kg to Rs 3,925 from Rs 3,940 and castoroil commercial edged down by Rs 3 per 10kg to Rs 815 as compared to Rs 818 previously. Linseedoil closed unchanged at Rs 740 per 10kg.
