Edibleoils firm-up on rising demand

Groundnutoil rose further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to sustained demand stockists and retailers amid lower arrivals from producing regions.
Refined palmolein also gained on good retail demand.
In the non-edibles, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercials recovered moderately following renewed offtake from shippers and soap industries.
While, linseedoil continued its steady trend in the absence of any largescale buying.
In edible section, groundnutoil climbed by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 920 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 910 and refined palmolein gained by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 460 as compared to Rs 455 previously.

In the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold moved up by Rs 50 per 100 kg to Rs 4,000 from previous close of Rs 3,950 and castoroil commercial went up by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 830 from 820. Linseedoil ended unaltered at Rs 860 per 10 kg.
