Efforts made to protect tribal health, says district collector

East Godavari District Collector Neetu Prasad said here today that efforts were being made to protect health of tribals in the agency area of Rampachodavaram.
She inaugurated mother and child healthcare camps at Jaddangi and Lododdi in Rajavommangi mandal of the district.
She said that these camps were organised by Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) as well as the medical department.
At these two camps, a total of 600 patients were treated and provided drugs by the Red Cross, she said.
