Ekta, 25, who injured her right hand during the rehearsals, said she is extremely upset with her eviction.
"I am extremely sad. I hadn't expected this after staying on the show for such a long time. I will miss the stage and will continue learning dance," Ekta told PTI.
Ekta's performance had faced criticism from the mentors -- Madhuri Dixit, Remo D'Souza and Karan Johar -- in the beginning, but much to their surprise, she proved to be a learner and better dancer with each passing week with the help of her choreographer Tushar Kalia.
Ekta is now planning to take a break from showbiz and would like to visit her parents in Jammu.
"I haven't met my parents from last one year. I am planning to visit them now. I will also concentrate on my acting and dance. I will prove myself as a better performer next," she added.
The actress, who is an MBA and landed into acting accidentally, made her debut with TV soap 'Rab Se Sohna Isshq' that went off air recently.
