This will be Mukherjee's first visit to Bihar since assuming office.
"All the required security arrangements have been made for the president's visit and the required police force has been mobilised for the purpose," Additional Director General of Police (ADG), Headquarters, Ravindra Kumar told PTI here today.
Any additional requirement for strengthening security measures for the President's visit will also be made as needed, he said.
Police carried out routine checking at public places like bus stands, railway stations and hotels to sanitise surrounding areas near the venues of the president's programmes, the ADG said.
During his visit, Mukherjee will launch the state government's ambitious agriculture road map here and attend the convocation of Lalit Narayan Mishra University in Darbhanga, official sources said.
