Elderly woman dies while standing in bank queue in UP

An elderly woman, who was standing in a queue outside a bank to withdraw money died in Ratsad area here, police said today.
Indrasani Devi (70), who was standing for over three hours in the queue at a Central Bank branch yesterday was taken seriously ill, family sources said.
She died due to heart failure while being taken back to her home, they said.
As the family did not have any cash for cremation of the body, the daughter-in-law of the deceased had to stand in queue at the same bank to withdraw money for it, they said.
SP (Superintendent of Police) Vaibhav Krishna said the matter will be probed and necessary action will be taken against those found responsible.
