Engineer arrested for accepting bribe
Superintendent Engineer of Jalore Municipality Deepak Kumar Gupta had demanded the bribe from contractor Jitendra Kumar for passing his bills amounting Rs 10 lakh, ACB Inspector General Smita Srivastava said here.
After verification of the complaint, the ACB laid a trap and caught the accused while taking the bribe in his office, she said, adding Gupta was placed under arrest.
