Khattar also asked the youngest 18 IPS officers to ensure effective implementation of his top commitments of providing transparent administration, zero tolerance against corruption and upliftment of the poor keeping in the spirit of Antodaya.
He said that the police personnel were the most visible face of the government while interacting with the Haryana cadre IPS officers of the 2009--2014 batches here at his residence here.
Ample experience of the senior IPS officers of the state needs to be matched with the enthusiasm and youthfulness of ideas of the next generation officers to make Haryana police a model for the country, the Chief Minister said.
Khattar asked the IPS officers to prepare foolproof plans to prevent group tension in their respective areas and emphasised on the need to give patient hearing to those who visit the police stations.
Separate reception counters should be set up in each police station for the convenience of people, he said.
"The sense of satisfaction should be the most coveted aspiration of young police officers," Khattar said.
Informing that a Cyber Police Station was being set up at Gurgaon, Khattar noted that CCTV cameras were being installed in all towns of the state which would help in keeping vigil, save manpower and also gather clues in crime investigation.
Stressing to the need of better facilities for police personnel to enable them discharge their duties properly, he told Director General of Police, Yash Pal Singal, to review and increase financial limits of Superintendents of Police.
