Photos sharing app launched, can count pictures * Shoto Inc today launched a new photo app that allows users to share photographs privately with their friends.
The company, which is backed by Real Ventures and actor Kunal Nayyar, will make the app available in five languages -- English, Hindi, Spanish, French and Mandarin.
"Shoto tells you how many photos were taken with friends or family members from times spent together and easily lets users share photos and create private or public albums," Shoto Co-Founder and CEO Sachin Dev Duggal told reporters here.
Cloud-based tax filing portal launched
* IndusNet Technologies and Taxmantra.Com, two Kolkata-based IT companies, have launched a cloud-based tax filing portal Makeyourtax.Com to facilitate income tax filing by individuals and clients of chartered accountants.
"We are launching Country's first cloud-based income tax filing portal developed by a group of software professionals located in Kolkata," CEO of IndusNet Technologies Abhishek Rungta said.
Rungta said there were other tax filing platforms available in the country today but they were desktop applications and not on-line.
