The 54-year-old actor, who will reprise his role as Will Truman from the hit late '90s TV show, said he is proud of its legacy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"... We had full confidence in (co-creators) Max (Mutchnick) and David (Kohan). When they asked, my first and only question was, 'Do you have the stories to tell?' They said, 'Absolutely'.
"It's a great show. It's a great piece of our history. We're very proud of it," McCormack said.
