The 34-year-old actor is all set to star in the Universal comedy, which also features Kevin Hart, Taran Killam, Rob Riggle, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The story is written by Hart, which follows a group of misfits who are forced to attend adult classes with the long- shot hope that they will pass the GED exam.
Ben Schwartz, Yvonne Orji and Tiffany Haddish also star in the film.
Hart will also serve as producer on the film, which will be directed by Malcolm D Lee.
"Night School" is set for release on September 28 next year.
