Ericsson appoints Priyanka Anand as VP, HR Head for MOAI

Swedish telecom gear firm Ericsson has appointed Priyanka Anand as vice-president and head of human resources for South East Asia, Oceania and India. "As part of her new role, Priyanka is responsible for leading the HR function across markets like India, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Philippines and Bangladesh amongst others," the company said in a statement. Based in India, Priyanka will be a part of the market area leadership team and will report to Nunzio Mirtillo , Head of the Market Area South East Asia, Oceania and India (MOAI). Priyanka has been the Vice President and Head, HR Global Operations at Ericsson between April 2014 to January 2018. Between July 2010 and April 2014, Priyanka was Vice President and Head of HR at Ericsson Global Services.

A web portal, grade1to6, has been launched that offers worksheets for teachers and students of grade 1 to 6 to strengthen their basics and fundamentals in mathematics and English. "The portal offers more than 6,000 worksheets and covers curriculum of Common Core US, the national curriculum of the UK and Singapore, The International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme, ICSE, and CBSE," the founder and CEO of grade1to6, Balaji V, said. The portal aims to provide a clear and sound understanding of the subject and encourage children to practice more and polish their skills, the CEO said. "We are also working on a model to provide content writing services for school websites and social media platforms," he added.
