Etawah DM referred to AIIMS after spinal injury

The district magistrate of Etawah sustained spinal injury during a swimming session at a sports stadium at Sefai, administration officials said.
District Magistrate Vidya Bhushan had gone for a swimming session at the stadium along with his family last evening where he started complaining of back pain, they said.
He was admitted to PGI Sefai where during a check-up, fracture in his spinal cord was detected, Ramakant, a doctor, said.
He said that the DM has been referred to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi.
