Every person in UP to have debt of Rs 12,662 by FY'15 end

Every individual residing in Uttar Pradesh would have a debt of around Rs 12,662 by the end of 2014-15 as per the figures given in the state Budget presented by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav in the Vidhan Sabha today.
As per the figures given in the budget, estimated debt burden of the state could reach Rs 2,65,901.93 crore by the end of this financial year and considering UP's total population of 21 crore, every individual would have a debt of Rs 12,661.9.
In the last fiscal, the debt burden of the state was Rs 2,36,795.29 crore, which is expected to rise by Rs 29,006.64 crore in the current fiscal.
Of the total budget size of Rs 2,74,704.59 crore, more than Rs 17,000 crore would be given as debt servicing.
