Ex-BJP block president killed in Gumla

The body of a former block president of BJP, who was kidnapped three days ago, was found on a bridge in Gumla district today, the police said.
The body bore deep cut marks inflicted by sharp weapons, Superintendent of Police Rakesh Bansal told reporters here.
The body was found this morning on a road bridge over the Sankh River under Chenpur police station.
Extortion could be the motive behind the murder, the police said
The BJP leader, Ram Nagina Prasad, was kidnapped three days ago.
Prasad, owner of a fair price shop, was the former Dumri block president of the BJP.
