The Allahabad High Court has granted bail to Amarpal Sharma, a former BSP MLA from Sahibabad, in the murder case of BJP leader Gajendra Bhati.
Bhati was shot dead by two armed assailants in Khoda on September 2 last year. The police had arrested Narendra Gurjar alias Fauji and Raju in connection with the case.
Gurjar had told police that Sharma gave him Rs 10 lakh to kill Bhati.
Sharma had surrendered in court and was sent to the Dasna jail.
