Ex-MP Uttamsingh Pawar to contest as independent in Aurangabad

Former Jalna MP Uttamsingh Pawar today said he would contest as an Independent candidate from Aurangabad constituency in upcoming polls.
Pawar, a Congress leader and former BJP MP, said he was "sidelined" by the party in giving ticket.
"The official Congress nominee Nitin Patil is engaged in anti-party activities and chargesheeted for his alleged involvement in Aurangabad District Central Cooperative Bank," Pawar said.
Shiv Sena has fielded its sitting MP Chandrakant Khaire from the seat and AAP Subhash Lomte.
