"Modi is indulging in insinuation against me by describing me as the Lalu Prasad's ATM and other pejorative remarks to insult me," Gupta told reporters here.

"He has been after me since 1990s. I will consider taking legal action against him at an appropriate time," Gupta said, a day after the BJP leader accused him of getting a coal block allotted for his company and suppression of personal details in his Hong Kong-based company - Gupta International Investment Company Ltd (GIICL).

The details and ownership of his son's company were in the public domain and anybody could find the information and Modi had not done a James Bond act in getting the information, Gupta said.

On Modi's charge that he had suppressed his business details in the affidavit during filing of nomination papers for Rajya Sabha polls, the RJD leader said that there was no column in the form that required information related to his business.

Gupta also denied the allegation that there was investment of RJD and its leaders in his companies and said that his relations with the party were purely political.

Referring to Modi's charge that he was an outsider in Bihar politics and had been rewarded by the RJD supremo with two terms in the Rajya Sabha for allegedly being his 'ATM' Gupta said in that case Modi too was an outsider and so were many leaders in the BJP who too could be acting as 'ATMs' of their party.
