Information and Broadcasting Minister Arun Jaitley inaugurated the first such exhibition organised by the Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity (DAVP) here.
Jaitley said that while the exhibition has begun in the national capital, where it will continue till June 1, similar exhibitions will be held in state capitals from tomorrow.

After that, till next month, at 30 more places such exhibitions will be held, Jaitley said, adding that in all, there will be 60 such cities where these exhibitions will be held. He said the exhibitions held across the country will be in local languages.
Apart from this, 345 mobile vans will travel across districts of the country covering it in a phased manner, Jaitley said at a press conference where Minister of State Rajyavardhan Rathore and I&B Secretary Bimal Julka were also present.

At the exhibition inaugurated here on different initiatives of the government in various sectors including 'Jan Dhan Yojana' for financial inclusion, 'Annadata Sukhi Bhava' for farmers' welfare, 'Shramdeva Jayate' for ensuring dignity of labour and 'Swacch Bharat' for cleanliness.
At the multimedia exhibition here, speeches of Prime Minister Narendra Modi were played. Apart from display of information related to various initiatives, there is also exhibited a cutout of the Prime Minister with the Red Fort in the background.
Julka said the idea was to capture all the initiatives which have been taken by the government in different sectors whether it is economy, social sector, infrastructure, transparency through pictorial designs and multi media exhibition.
